Jammu, October 14, 2025: Dr. Sanjay Mohan, CEO, SMVDU–Technology Business Incubation Center (SMVDU-TBIC) and Chief Coordinator, Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC), Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU), delivered an inspiring talk on the theme “Entrepreneurship: The Drive to Shape Your Future” at Yogananda College of Engineering and Technology (YCET), Jammu. The session witnessed enthusiastic participation from the faculty members and students of YCET, who showed keen interest in
understanding the dynamics of entrepreneurship and innovation. In his address, Dr. Mohan emphasized the importance of developing an entrepreneurial mindset, creativity, and innovation as key drivers of progress in today’s rapidly changing world. He highlighted how entrepreneurship not only contributes to economic growth but also empowers individuals to transform ideas into meaningful ventures.

Dr. Mohan discussed the journeys of several successful Indian entrepreneurs, illustrating how vision, perseverance, and adaptability play vital roles in turning challenges into opportunities. Drawing from the experiences of startups nurtured at SMVDU-TBIC, he motivated students to identify opportunities, take calculated risks, and develop problem- solving skills to shape their own futures. He also underlined the significance of incubation centers and mentorship in guiding early-stage entrepreneurs and apprised students about various ongoing government funding schemes, including the latest initiative of the
Government of Jammu and Kashmir – the Mission Youth “YUVA Scheme.”

The talk concluded with an engaging interactive Q&A session, where students actively participated and discussed various aspects of innovation, startup development, and entrepreneurial challenges.
